DART provides comprehensive, up-to-date information on a wide range of drug and alcohol treatment services, such as withdrawal management, initial assessment and treatment planning, community treatment, community  day/evening treatment, residential treatment, residential supportive treatment, and residential medical/psychiatric treatment. Information on the DART database includes (but is not limited to): descriptions of organizations and programs, admission criteria, intake procedures, and services for specific populations such as youth, Natives, and women. In addition, DART has information about the availability of, or waiting periods for, different programs.

DART utilizes a computerized database, which is updated regularly and includes information on over 185 drug and alcohol treatment organizations in Ontario and the nearly 1,200 different programs they provide. Treatment organizations report information regularly to DART about available or upcoming spaces in their treatment services.
